NBC covers the MCA’s plan to build on the Armory site.
The Museum of Contemporary Art unveils plans for its new $43 million home today. The new museum will be built on the site of the Illinois National Guard Armory on Chicago Avenue. The new MCA will be four times bigger than the current facility on East Ontario Street. It will include classrooms, an art library, a theater, and a retail store.
