The Affiliate Groups

Community Donors

Judy Freeman explains the role and activities of the affiliate groups.

The North Side affiliates—in the first iteration of the affiliate groups, I believe there were five different groups, or maybe even six at one point. What we do is, we augment the programming that the museum does. We are a group—I like to call us—we're a bunch of lawyers who like to eat and shop. But in reality what it is: we coordinate tours of private collections, artist studios; we go to museums in other cities and other locations; and we plan these programs for members of the museum who then join the affiliate group.

We're the North Side Affiliate; there's a North Shore Affiliate; there's a Far West Affiliate group. There used to be a few more, but the three of us are still in existence, thank god.
